You can create contact lists of people based on events they have attended or plan on attending. To do this, navigate to your contacts portal.
If you have a standalone account, click the contacts icon in the top right hand corner.
If you have an enterprise account, click the contacts icon in the top right hand corner above your events.
You will land in your contacts portal. Click EVENTS FILTER.
A dropdown menu will appear with two options:
- If you want to create a contact list from events happening in the future, click ACTIVE EVENTS.
- If you want to create a contact list from events that have already taken place, click ARCHIVED EVENTS.
The FILTER CONTACTS BY... modal will open. To start, you can select the preferred display option:
- DISPLAY CONTACTS will display every contact that meets the status specifications and event attendance that you choose.
- DISPLAY SHARED CONTACTS will display contacts that meet the status specifications of every event you select.
Then, you can select the status specifications of your contact lists. For more information on what these different status markers indicate, refer to Filtering Guests by Status.
You can use the search bar to find the exact events you want to include in your list. For example, if I type 'urban' into the search bar, all events with that word contained in their EVENT NAME appear.
You can also search for events by date.
- For DATE WITHIN, use the dropdown menu to choose a window of time you want to include in your search. Please note, this will filter events that fall within the amount of time forward and backward from the date you specify.
- For DATE, choose the date you want to choose as the anchor for your date search window.
- For example, if I choose 11/01/2025 as my date, and 2 months as my date within, then click SEARCH, all events two months ahead of that date and two months behind that date will display.
Once you've identified all the events you want to include in your list, click the + icon that corresponds with each individual event. Then, click GENERATE LIST.
You will be redirected to the main contacts page, which will now only display contacts who belong to the specifications you selected. A list of the filters you applied with appear in the top left of the page.
If you want to save this list of contacts for future use, first check the box at the top of the selection column (far left). This will select every contact. Then, click the list icon. The dropdown menu will display two options:
- Click MAKE NEW LIST FROM SELECTED if you want these contacts to belong to their own specific list that you can utilize for future comms and organization purposes.
- Click ADD SELECTED TO LIST(S) if you want to add these contacts to a list your org already created.

If you want to export these contacts into an external CSV. file, click the export icon. A list of these contacts that belong to the event filters you specified will appear in a CSV. file in your downloads folder.
