When you sign up for a SeatRobot account, your organization instantly receives a fully functioning events website tailored to your needs. This professional, ready-to-use platform makes it easy to showcase all of your upcoming events in one place, while giving potential clients, guests, and partners a seamless way to register or purchase tickets online. With built-in features designed for convenience and efficiency, your events site helps you streamline event management, boost attendance, and create a polished experience for your audience, without the hassle of setting up or maintaining complex systems yourself.
To navigate to your events website, first start off in your DASHBOARD.
If an event is ticketed, it will say $$ paid event within the chiclet.
If an event is part of a recurrence, it will say **multiple dates available within the chiclet.
The other events in the recurrence will also display on the events website, in chronological order with other unrelated events.
If you want to filter the page to only display certain types of events, you can click the following buttons in the top left corner.
- FREE will display only only free events.
- PAID will display only ticketed events.
- ONLINE will display only online events.
You can also filter the page by groups in the right hand corner. Any filter groups that display here will have been established specifically by your organization. For more information on this process, refer to Creating Filter Groups & Filters.
If you click the drop down arrow that corresponds with any of these filter groups, the filters within them become clickable. For example, if I wanted to only display events that were affiliated with the Portland Campus, I would click that option. For more information on this process, refer to Applying Filters to Your Events.
If you click INFO in the bottom left corner of any specific event's chiclet, a modal will open that displays the key information for the event.
If you click MORE INFO in the bottom right corner of any specific event's chiclet, you will be redirected to the event's registration page.
The text that displays within each chiclet is called the event teaser text. This is entirely customizable. For more information on this process, refer to Adding Teaser Text.
The photos that display within the chiclet are also customizable. For more information on this process, refer to Adding a Web Page Header Image.
