With ZenGRM, you can link events. This is also referred to as a related event. What do these terms mean?
When you link an event in ZenGRM, it means you want those events to be associated for some reason. They are different events, but a guest's interest in one event indicates that they might be interested in the other event.
In cases like this, you may want both events to be referenced on each other's web page to increase visibility and sign-up rates. For example, I am facilitating two parenting related events:
- Positive Parenting Workshop
- Nutritional Excellence for Families
My organization tends to have a lot of overlap regarding the guests that want to attend each event. Therefore, I'm going to link them. To do this, navigate to DASHBOARD.
Identify the events you want to link and check their corresponding boxes, to the left of their EVENT NAME. Then, click the paperclip icon in the top right corner of the dashboard.
PLEASE NOTE: You can only link standalone events — recurrent and series events cannot be linked. Therefore, their box will be disabled.
Your events are now linked. This is represented by a link number to the left of the EVENT NAME.
You can see how this associated is represented on the event web pages for each event by clicking the blue globe icon for one of the events.
The PAGE LINKS FOR... modal will open. Click copy to add the event web page link to your clipboard and navigate to it in your preferred browser.
You will land on the event web page. If you scroll down, you can see that the linked event appears below the event description and RELATED EVENTS panel. This is how it will appear in the corresponding linked event as well.
If you want to unlink an event, navigate to DASHBOARD.
Identify the events you want to unlink. Check their corresponding boxes, then click the unlink icon in the top right corner of the dashboard.
