When you create a third party event, the sponsors who purchase packages may not fill all of the spots they purchased.
For example, a sponsoring company buys a package with 20 spots. However, in the lead up to the event, only 16 people from their organization are able to attend. In this scenario, they may want to 'donate' the remaining 4 spots back to the event.
With SeatRobot, this process is very straightforward. To enable seat donation, first navigate to SETUP.
Scroll down to the ADVANCED table at the bottom of the page. Check the box next to 3RD PARTY INVITES. Once this is selected, the panel will expand with more options. Once this occurs, check the box next to ALLOW SEAT DONATION.
If the event manager or TPC clicks the DONATE hyperlink that corresponds with any of the spare spots in the package (denoted by a blank row in the YOUR ATTENDEE LIST table), the spot will be given back to the event.
Once a spot is donated, it appears at the bottom of the tier table. If you want to take the spot back, click RECLAIM. The DONATED row will revert back to a blank row.
