To change a guest's status from waitlisted or declined to confirmed, first navigate to GUEST LIST.
Within your guest list, identify the guest or guest(s) you'd like to move from the waitlist to the confirmed list.
If you're looking for a specific guest, it's best to utilize the search bar.
If you want to look at everyone who belongs to a certain status, it's best to utilize the filter by status icon. Waitlisted guests appear in blue, outstanding guests appear in grey and declined guests appear in red.
Check the box that corresponds with the guest(s) you want to confirm. Then, click the CONFIRM button (the green thumbs up icon).
The GUEST STATUS UPDATE CONFIRMATION window will appear. If the register button associated with your event has space available, you will select the button by clicking the circle.
Then, you have the option of confirming your guest(s), with or without them receiving a confirmation email.
If the registration button associated with your event does NOT have space available within it, the GUEST STATUS UPDATE CONFIRMATION window will appear, but you will not be able to select your registration button. Therefore, you will not be able to move guests into the confirmed guest list at this stage.
In order to move guests from the waitlisted and/or declined list to the confirmed list, you will have to increase the capacity of your registration button. To do this, navigate to SETUP.
In the REQUIRED DETAILS table, click on your registration button.
In the MAX REGISTRATIONS WITH THIS BUTTON textbox, type in the new capacity for your event, that will accommodate the guests you are trying to confirm. For example, the capacity of my event changed from 40 to 45, so that's what I've entered into the textbox. Press SAVE INFO when completed.
Navigate back to your GUEST LIST.
Now, if you re-trace the steps above, you'll be able to move the guests from the waitlisted, outstanding and/or declined list to the confirmed list.
Once you've chosen CONFIRM GUEST or CONFIRM GUEST AND SEND EMAIL, you'll be redirected back to your guest list, where you can see that the guests you selected are now confirmed. You can tell that they are confirmed because they have a green dot next to their name.
You can also tell that they are confirmed by clicking the filter button. In my case, the VIEW CONFIRMED number went from 40 to 42.
