The event GUEST LIST search bar will search through all guests in your GUEST LIST of any state, including Outstanding (guests who have been invited but who have not yet RSVP'd). For events with very large guest lists, the search is bay far the quickest method of finding a specific contact.
The GUEST LIST Search bar is originally set at 'Default': this setting will search for matching text in the following fields: First Name, Last Name, Company, Email - and return all matching results.
The contacts in your GUEST LIST also contain other data fields which may not be displayed on the GUEST LIST table. You can search by these fields using the search field dropdown:
Selecting any of these fields prior to entering text and searching will force the system to search for matching text only in the selected field.
Note 1: all contact data fields are also available to be included in your report when exporting your GUEST LIST by selecting the fields you require in the export modal.
Note 2: for Enterprise users, any Custom Fields created by your Admin will appear as search options in the dropdown as well:
Note 3: All fields except 'Suffix' and any Custom fields (enterprise only) will return results based on information in the event-level GUEST LIST. The Suffix field and all Custom Fields will return information from the Contacts Database because these fields are not editable at the event level.
