To enable seating functions, first navigate to SETUP.
Scroll down to the ADVANCED table and check the box next to ADD ASSIGNED SEATING.
The SELECT SEATING PREFERENCE window will appear. Choose TABLES then press SAVE.
A new tab will appear called SEATING. If you click that, you will have two options. Click ROOM LAYOUT.
The ROOM LAYOUT grid will appear. Click LAYOUT.
The CREATE ROOM GRID window will appear. Select the number of squares you want to be in your room layout format, then click UPDATE LAYOUT.
Next, click SPACE. A new button called FILL SPACES will appear.
If you click that, a drop down menu with table options will be available. One of the options under FILL SPACES is called UNUSED SPACE. This refers to parts of your grid that should not be taken up by tables / people (i.e. stages, booths, plants, sculptures, or just empty space)
If you click UNUSED SPACE, every spot in the grid will be denoted with a red X, indicating that it's an empty space.
To assign a table to a space in a grid, click the squares that represent your tables. Then, click FILL SPACES, and choose table size you want to be in that section.
My event consists of 400 people, sitting on 40 tables of 10. Therefore, I clicked all the squares that represent tables, then click TABLE OF 10.
The page will now display your room layout. Next, click LABELS. A new button will appear called LABELS SPACE.
If you click that, a dropdown menu will appear. Any tags you've created in your event will appear here at the bottom of the list.
For example, I've tagged some people as 'Donor', so I will click the tables that I want to be for Donors, then click that tag. The tables I selected now appear as Donor1, Donor2, etc.
You can also prioritize the tables in your room layout. To do this, click PRIORITY. A new button labeled PRIORITIZE SPACE will appear.
If you click that button, you can see different priority labels. This is useful if you want to note the hierarchy or preference of your tables.
When you apply different priority labels to different tables, they become shaded with their corresponding color.
Every table must have a label before you can save the layout. To do this, click LABELS, then click the LABELS SPACE dropdown button and select SEQUENTIAL NUMBERS.
Every table will now have a numerical label. Click SAVE LAYOUT to move onto seating guests.
