Yes! You can definitely do this.
However, if possible, we'd recommend a few other methods first to save you time.
If this is a free event that is accessible to the general public, we'd recommend encouraging your guest to register to the event on their own using the event web page link.
Alternatively, if you happen to have their information that you need for the Registration Input Fields, and permission to register on their behalf, you can register them via the event web page.
If neither of these options is appropriate, you can add your guest "on the back end" by following these steps. Basically, you're going to 'Invite' them to the event, but instead of sending them the email invite, you're going to RSVP on their behalf. This will add them as a confirmed guest to your event's guest list and can also send them a confirmation email automatically.
To start, navigate to the EMAILS page.
Then click SEND INVITE.
Then click CREATE INVITE TEMPLATE.
Put together your invite email. Remember, this is technically irrelevant, as the invite email itself will not be sent as we'll be auto-confirming this guest. Make sure to type in a TEMPLATE NAME for your internal reference.
It is also imperative that you assign your invite email to a registration button. The registration button assigned determines which email confirmation they receive if there is more than one registration button / ticket. They will also be tagged with this registration Button in your event's Guest List. Press SAVE.
After pressing SAVE, your template will appear. I called mine 'Auto-Confirming People'. I called it this name so I can easily find and use this template again if I want to auto-confirm other people.
Click USE.
The EMAILS NOTIFICATION pop up window will appear. Again, you'll want to name this for your reference. You might call this 'Auto-confirm from Caroline's VIPs' - whatever key information helps you.
Once you've named it, press SAVE.
Now, you will choose who you want to send this to. If you have multiple people you want to auto-confirm and they are contained within a list you've uploaded into your organization's CONTACTS, you can click ADD CONTACT LIST(S).
If you have one or more people that you want to add individually, you should click ADD A CONTACT.
In this search bar, you can start typing their name. If they already exist within your organization's contact list, their name will eventually appear. You can click that name and it will pre-load the data that SeatRobot has associated with them.
If they do not yet exist within your organization's SeatRobot contact database, you can manually add them at this stage. You can type in their email then press CHECK EMAIL.
Type in their info, check the acknowledgement box, and press ADD CONTACT.
Then click AUTO CONFIRM GUESTS / MANAGE DO-NOT-MAIL. This is very important as it will stop them from receiving the invite email and automatically confirm them instead!
The REVIEW CONTACTS IN LIST pop up window will appear. Check the box under AUTO CONFIRM, then press SAVE CHANGES.
Click SET LAUNCH TIME.
Check LAUNCH IMMEDIATELY, then press SAVE.
Press LAUNCH.
The CONFIRM EMAIL SEND pop up will appear. Press CONFIRM.
The person you auto-confirm will be added to the event GUEST LIST and will automatically receive the Confirmation Email associated with the Registration Button you assigned to the invite.
