In this article, we'll review how to edit the PACKAGE TEXT that displays when guests purchase a ticket for an event. This feature is useful if you have key information you want your attendees to know before they purchase a ticket.
To start, navigate to the TICKETS tab inside your event.
Choose the ticket that you'd like to edit. In my case, I'll be editing the default ticket.
The ticket window will open up to the right. Here, you can customize everything, including the price and the name of the ticket. For more information on this process, refer to Creating a Ticketed Event.
For PACKAGE TEXT, type in any key information you want guests to know before purchasing. Anything you type into the PACKAGE TEXT area, will show up in the area above the 'quantity' drop down menu when attendees are purchasing tickets.
After fully customizing your ticket, press SAVE.
After pressing SAVE, the window on the right will disappear. You'll want to go back to the TICKETS / 3RD PARTY PACKAGES window on the left, and make sure you check the box on the left. This ensures that the ticket is visible on the event web page.
Now, we can visit the event web page to ensure the ticket is displaying all of the information accurately. Navigate to WEB PAGE.
Then click VIEW EVENT WEB PAGE.
Here, we can see that the ticket is live on the event web page.
If we click the TICKET FOR LUNCHEON button, the PURCHASE TICKET window opens up. We can see that the copy we inserted into the package text box is displaying here, above the SELECT QUANTITY dropdown menu.
